Primary Responsibilities  

• Design, develop and implement hybrid cloud environments

• Deploy and automate infrastructure & platform services in Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, and Azure) using Terraform and Ansible

• Design and manage Continuous deployment using Kubernetes and Jenkins

• Design, implement and execute Backup and Recovery and Business Continuity processes

• Monitor applications and services within the environments, on-call rotation using Datadog, Elastic Search, and Opsgenie, take actions to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences

• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Service Incidents using Jira Service Desk and the alerting and different monitoring tools

• Set up intelligent application performance alerts in Datadog and ElasticSearch to find and fix issues before they impact business services and end-users

- Learn about technologies outside of your realm of expertise that help drive

• Work collaboratively with software engineering to develop/deploy our systems

Skills & Requirements

• BS or MS Computer Science or any equivalent technical degree

• Understanding of how cloud-based web applications work and interest in measuring, analyzing, and improving distributed systems

• 2-4 years’ experience with Public Cloud Deployments

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production

• Experience with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible

• Experience with Networking and security Technologies for cloud services

• Experience with Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI

• Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools for SaaS such as ELK, Splunk, Datadog etc

• Good communication skills, written and verbal

• Well organized and can take direction and work independently
